FROM MASON, MAINEVILLE:

Take Tylersville Road to I-75 North. Get off at Monroe exit. Go left at the light at the end of the exit ramp (back over I-75) You are now heading west on Rt. 63 (Hamilton-Lebanon Rd). Stay on Rt. 63 through Monroe until you see signs for Rt. 4. Take Rt. 4 north toward Middletown. Stay on Rt. 4 for about 5.5 miles (you will head into downtown Middletown passing Douglas Park complete with outdoor pool and then the new McKinley school on your left.) This road will become one way as you enter into the downtown area. You will come to a light at Manchester Ave. There will be a Flowers by Roger florist on your left at this intersection. Turn left and cross over Verity Pkwy. The YMCA is on your left 1020 Manchester Ave across from the Manchester Hotel/Restaurant.

From Lebanon:

Take Rt. 63 out of Lebanon and across I-75 and follow the same directions as above.

For food locations close to the YMCA: (by request)

Manchester Ave. will dead end into S. Main street right past the YMCA. Take a right (north) onto Main. At the second light (Verity Parkway) turn left. Follow for 0.75 miles until you see “restaurant alley.”

You could then get back on Verity Parkway (Rt. 4 south )and head south to get back to Rt. 63 in Monroe.

For food locations close to I-75: (Middletown exit)

Go left (south on Main Street) and then turn left (east) onto First Ave.
OR you can
Head back the way you came but turn RIGHT onto N VERITY PKWY (N CANAL ST / OH-4 S / OH-73 W) and then left onto First Ave. Stay on First (which is one way) until you see signs for the RR tracks. Get in the right lane and then you will cross the RR tracks.

Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto OH-122 E / S UNIVERSITY BLVD. Continue to follow OH-122 E. Stay on University until the road goes into a Y. Veer left onto Roosevelt Blvd ( still Rt. 122 east) This will take you out to I-75 (about 4.5 miles) . You will cross Breiel Blvd which is the eastern version of “restaurant alley” on Verity Pkwy. There is a Speedway on the right corner and a Papa Johns/Skyline Chile/Subway on the left side of this intersection. Turn left here for McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Long John Silvers, Captain D’s, Taco Bell, Rally’s. A little further up on Breiel there is a Burger King, Lee’s Chicken and LaPinata.

If you continue on Roosevelt toward the highway, you will pass an Arby’s on your left, LaRosa’s, Frickers on your right, Frisch’s on your left before you come to many restaurants and the Towne Mall and I-75.
